Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid  'Pageant'. Bold and audacious in every way and one of the earliest to really kick off the peony season. Soft pink petals with cherry red veins surround a striking heart of golden stamens. The very large flowers are complemented by a vigorous growing plant, that needs at least a square metre at maturity. It can be planted as a solitary or in larger groups.

A daring cross of lactiflora x officinalis x macrophylla by Prof. Saunders. 

Registered in 1941.
