Peony 'Top Hat'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'Top Hat'. A little of extravagance for your garden. 'Top Hat' has that extra bit of pizzazz that is sometimes needed to bring a border to life.  The cerise pink flag petals over a cream centre are the plant's thank you when it reaches maturity.

The sturdy stems are of medium height and the healthy foliage starts burgundy and turns dark glossy green. The fragrant flowers are of medium size with numerous side buds to ensure a rich spring show.

Registered with the 'American Peony Society' in 1971 by Helen Reynolds.
