Peony 'Pink Teacup'

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid 'Pink Teacup'.  Its colour, leaf shape and plant habit are simply perfect, all in one. A single row of broad petals in bright rosy pink form a symmetrical cup, enclosing a centre of pale yellow pollen-bearing stamens and pink-tipped stigmas. This compact plant with feathery foliage is a strong grower and can hold its own against its larger siblings. A remarkable landscape plant for a special place in the garden.

(quadruple hybrid officinalis x tenuifolia + lactiflora x peregrina)

Registered with the 'American Peony Society' in 2000.
