Description
Paeonia lactiflora 'Honey Gold'. A honey-sweet play of colours. Its resplendent flowers are a symphony of delicate hues, occasionally accentuated by a touch of pink.
The flowers are sweetly scented, so it's no surprise that Carl Klehm, a peony breeder with a passion for showy and impressive peonies, named it 'Honey Gold'. Depending on the garden and the gardener, some support may be desirable. This variety is one of our visitors' favourite cut flowers and is rarely available.
It was registered with the American Peony Society in 1970.
