Peony Blaze

Peony Blaze

Paeonia herbaceous hybride "Blaze". Like a brilliant burst of fire this peony shows red in a most fierce way!  Against the backdrop of several rows of petals the pollen laden yellow stamens stand out as a feast for bees and other garden friends. A lovely garden plant.

Parentage P. herbaceous hybride (lactiflora x peregrina) Bravura x self.

Registered in 1973 by David Reath.
