Peony 'Stardust'

Peony 'Stardust'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora "Stardust. The promising blush flower buds form a flower with two rows of white petals and matching white tipped carpels. One of our earliest flowering single white peonies. Multiple buds extend the blooming season of this floriferous beauty. The flowers are placed well above the shiny green foliage and no support is required.

A rare cultivar priced by Mrs. Falk as the parent of several of Glasscock’s beautiful white peonies. Hence, surely the name, Stardust. Grandchild of P. "Le Cygne"

Registered in 1964 by Mrs. Falk.
