Paeonia herbaceous hybrid 'Henry Bockstoce'. The bold foliage and matching cardinal red flowers are eye-catching.
It is a striking plant that requires extra space, but also a little extra time to establish. As the saying goes, first the roots, then the shoots. Your patience will be rewarded with large flowers on strong stems and a healthy, vigorous plant. It is one of the last peonies in this shade of red to flower.
