Peony Abalone Pink

Peony 'Abalone Pink'

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid 'Abalone Pink'. One of the first peonies to flower. A delicate beauty of coral pink with a sunny centre. On the outside or face of the petals there is a lighter coloured flare. Towards the end of the flowering period the petals fade to ivory. The flowers are filled with pollen-laden stamens to feed our bees. Compact with a well proportioned flower. A lovely landscape plant to brighten up the spring border.

Registered in 1978, also known as P. 'Abalone Pearl'.
