Peony 'Abalone Pink'

Peony 'Abalone Pink'

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid 'Abalone Pink'. One of the first peonies to flower. It has delicate coral-pink petals with a sunny centre and a lighter-coloured flare on the outside or face of the petals. Towards the end of the flowering period the petals fade to ivory.

The flowers are filled with pollen-laden stamens to feed our bees. A lovely landscape plant to brighten up the early border.

Registered in 1978, also known as P. 'Abalone Pearl'.
