Peony 'Yankee Doodle Dandy'

Description

Paeonia Itoh 'Yankee Doodle Dandy'. A unique intersectional hybrid peony, rarely offered as field-grown. Throughout its long flowering season, the large, deep pink flowers develop into a range of shades with a hint of plum at the heart.

The softly scented flowers are semi-double. The size, rounded petals of the flowers, the foliage and the strong, multi-budded stems form a harmonious whole; a landscape plant par excellence.

Registered in 2002.
