Peony Lemon Chiffon

Peony Lemon Chiffon

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid “Lemon Chiffon”. Bold light green foliage supports the showy soft lemon coloured flowers with poise.

Flowers are semi-double to double and have heavy substance. Stems are strong and form a solid base to support the graceful display of this floriferous variety. It is a beautiful landscape plant and equally admirable in a vase.

A double hybrid; parentage (Salmon Dream x (Cream Delight x Moonrise). In turn, it also produces lovely pea size fertile seeds that receive a treasure trove of genetic material.

Registered in 1981.
