Peony Yankee Doodle Dandy

Peony 'Yankee Doodle Dandy'

Description

Paeonia Itoh 'Yankee Doodle Dandy'. An intersectional hybrid peony which is rarely offered as field grown. Throughout its long flowering season, the large, deep pink flowers develop into a range of shades with a hint of plum at the heart. The softly scented flowers are semi-double. The size, rounded petals of the flowers, the foliage and the strong, multi-budded stems form a harmonious whole; a landscape plant par excellence.

Registered in 2002.
