Peony Gardenia

Peony 'Gardenia'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'Gardenia'. The buds are white or blush depending on the weather, but always develop into perfect white double flowers. 'Gardenia' flowers early in the season and has become one of our favourite classic peonies. Slightly fragrant, with strong stems, healthy foliage, many buds and compact growth, it ticks all the boxes for a robust landscape peony and long-lasting cut flower.

Registered in 1949.
