Peony Pageant

Peony Pageant

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid  "Pageant".

Bold and audacious in every way and one of the earliest to really kick off the peony season. The soft pink petals with cherry red veins enclose a prominent heart of golden stamens. The very large flowers are complimented by a vigorous growing plant, which requires at least a square meter at maturity. It can be planted as a solitaire or in larger groups. A daring cross of lactiflora x officinalis x macrophyll by Prof. Saunders.

Registered in 1941.
