Peony Emma Klehm

Peony 'Emma Klehm'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'Emma Klehm'. A peony named after a grandmother or in this case great-great-grandmother, can only be exceptional and so is 'Emma Klehm'!

A double late flowering variety with an abundance of flowers. The petals have substance and retain a rich shade of pink. The flowers do not falter at the first sight of rain or wind and the dark green foliage is the perfect back drop. The stems are strong and hold well.

It is a charming landscape peony and a very good cut flower. What more could you ask for!

Registered by the 'American Peony Society' in 1951.

'Royal Horticultural Society' Award of Garden Merit.
