Peony Roselette

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybride "Roselette" is a very early flowering variety. Its shiny burgundy foliage appears early spring and displays an abundance of promising buds. It is a taller variety, which surpasses the others and catches your eye from the very start.

The large flowers are softly scented and show an abundance of pollen-laden stamens to charm the bees.  The pink flowers are as large as a saucer and the broad, olive-green foliage fits perfectly beneath. Some side buds extend the flowering season.

This beautiful landscaped peony, rightly awarded with an "Award of Landscape Merit" from the "American Peony Society", is an achievement of Professor Saunders

Registered with the American Peony Society in 1950.
