Peony Roselette

Peony 'Roselette'

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybride 'Roselette' is a very early flowering variety. Its glossy burgundy foliage appears in early spring and shows an abundance of promising buds. It is a taller variety that catches the eye from the start.

The large flowers are delicately scented and have an abundance of pollen-laden stamens to attract the bees.  The pink flowers are the size of a saucer and the broad, olive green foliage fits perfectly underneath. Some side buds extend the flowering season.

This beautiful landscape peony, rightly awarded with an 'Award of Landscape Merit' from the 'American Peony Society', is an achievement of Professor Saunders

Registered with the 'American Peony Society' in 1950.
