Peony White Imp

Peony 'White Imp'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'White Imp'. Compact plant ideal for the front of the border. Pearl-like buds develop into single white flowers with 2 to 3 rows of guard petals surrounding a heart of pollen-laden stamens and red-tipped carpels.

Multiple flower buds extend the flowering season of this bee-friendly landscape peony. It is a vigorous grower with strong dark green foliage that definitely needs no support.

Registered in 1998.
