Peony Elizabeth Foster

Peony 'Elizabeth Foster'

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid 'Elizabeth Foster'. The bowl-shaped flowers in bright shades of pink are an eye-catcher in the garden. The petals change to different shades of pink and ivory, creating a harmonious play throughout the flowering season.

The sturdy petals, the flowers and the foliage make it an excellent landscape plant, ready to stand strong in rain or shine. It makes a lovely specimen plant or can be planted in a group for maximum effect.  A rarely offered variety.

Registered by the American Peony Society in 1941.
