Peony White Cap

Peony White Cap

Description

Paeonia lactiflora "White Cap". The name may seem a bit puzzling when the intense burgundy coloured buds appear. But once the creamy heart is revealed, all becomes clear. The center is fused with the same burgundy colour as the guard petals and when mature turns a lighter shade of pale.

The flowers emit a sweet scent, which is worth a detour in your garden. Several side buds extend the flowering period and healthy foliage completes it all. This beauty is a feast for all the senses.
