Peony Gold Standard

Description

Paeonia lactiflora "Gold Standard". Prominent saucer shaped flowers adorn a plant with healthy dark green foliage and sturdy stems. The outer or guard petals are pure white with a creamy gold speckled petaloid centre. The pistil is yellow, giving it a uniform appearance. The lovely scented flowers open late, the which is ideal if you wish to enjoy your peonies just a little longer. The robust plant retains its beautiful green foliage even in hot summers.

Registered with the American Peony Society in 1934.
