Peony 'Gold Standard'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'Gold Standard'. Prominent saucer-shaped flowers adorn a plant with healthy dark green foliage and sturdy stems. The outer or guard petals are pure white with a creamy gold mottled petaloid centre. The stigma and style are yellow, giving a uniform appearance. The flowers open late, which is ideal if you want to enjoy your peonies a little longer. This robust plant will retain its beautiful green foliage even in the hottest of summers.

Registered with the 'American Peony Society' in 1934.
