Peony White Doves

Peony White Doves

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid "White Doves". This enchanting treasure arrived at our doorstep many years ago directly from Don Hollingsworth’s nursery. This rare variety is a cross between P. Archangel and P. Claire the Lune and with such impressive parents the offspring is promising.

The opaque white petals are rounded and surround a tuft of golden stamens and red tipped carpels. The foliage is a medium green and the stems are strong and require no support. This early flowering variety is a beauty to behold.

Registered in 1996.
