Peony Rubyette

Peony Rubyette

Description

Paeonia herbaceous hybrid "Rubyette".

A new peony in our collection "Small and cute". This compact spring flower has nice straight stems and is wind and weather resistant. The first sunrays open up the flowers buttons, which appear like tulips. The mahogany red petals enclose a nice tuft of stamens. A little garden gem, but also the bees and other garden visitors feast at its appearance. Obviously this landscape peony does not require any support.

Registered by Roy Klehm in 1986.
