Peony Chiffon Clouds

Peony 'Chiffon Clouds'

Description

Paeonia lactiflora 'Chiffon Clouds'. Creamy wavy petals stippled with pink dots form a single flower loved by bees and gardeners alike.  Several lateral buds gradually open to form a cloud of pastel chiffon.

The flowers are positioned just above the foliage, just as we like them. The large, dark green, glossy foliage starts from the base and suppresses weeds once the plant is established.  After the flowers come the seed pods. 'Chiffon Clouds' it is a sturdy and healthy variety, the pods can be left on the plant when it is mature. Who knows what treasures are hidden inside!

Registered in 1995.
